MDA Camp

June 22, 2016

Did you know all full-time, Innovative-IDM employees are eligible to take up to 16 hours per calendar year to volunteer at a 501c3 charitable organization? Steve, Gina and Anabel sure did and they just got back from a successful event at MDA Camp.

Steve Falcone, Dallas Business Development Manager, said “It was a great day! This camp is amazing and we served BBQ and sides to about 250 campers, volunteers and counselors. Team Innovative rocked it and I am so glad to be on the Innovative Team.”

Way to go Steve, Gina and Anabel and thanks for representing Innovative-IDM at such a special event.

Innovative-IDM Donates 3,000 lbs of Food This Holiday Season

November 19, 2014

Innovative-IDM was called to serve the community this holiday season and serve we did; 3,000 lbs of food was collected between the Dallas and Houston locations.  Hunger doesn’t discriminate; families depend on services as the Food Banks strive to provide meals year round. Food banks, once thought of only as a poor person’s stigma, also serve the middle class like you and I. We have been blessed to work for an amazing company that supports and encourages it’s employees to give back and when Innovative gives back it’s Legendary. Donations from Houston weighed in at 785 lbs  and Dallas at 2,313 lbs – we all pulled together as a team and made a miracle happen for many families.

October 6, 2014

Team 50 Shades of Gray should really be called the 72 Shades of Gray Hairs after the hair raising back and forth battle between the Wire Wound Capacitors and Stepped on a Lego LCS teams.  As of September 19th, 50 Shades of Gray increased to 63 gray hairs as they strenuously pushed out of 3rd place in a dire effort to reach first place. Team Leader Marc Phelps corralled his team to drive for more LCS points; mentioning Legendary Customer Acts and Thank you cards put the nail in the proverbial coffin. 50 Shades arose victorious by the end of the month.  When asked when they will be taking their half day off, the team responded in concert with a resounding ‘FRIDAY!’

C.D. Oyeka joins the Dallas Contract Manufacturing Team

October 3, 2014

Buzz is happy to announce the hiring of Chukwudinka Oyeka (aka C.D.) to the manufacturing team in Dallas. Born in Denton, Texas and raised in Nigeria, C.D. returned to Dallas in 1999. He is a four-year veteran of the United States Navy where he was an Aviation Electronic Technician. C.D. is a family man and enjoys listening to Reggae (Reggae Wednesdays in the Dallas shop). He prefers to play  rather than watch sports and lucky for us he enjoys building things with his hands. He is a great asset to IIDM and we look forward to seeing him grow with IIDM and help us reach our goals.
