iacorphallo1What’s more strange: The sun shining or seeing a friendly gathering of a wizard, a zombie and a Mac Daddy money pimp (or is that a used car salesman)?

Call Innovative Automation today at 877.906.2100 and ask for The Wizard.

Che Guevara Uncropped Photo

October 9, 2009

Much like the famous Ty Cobb “sliding” glass negative photo, you rarely see the uncropped full image of this famous photo of Che Guevara taken in 1960 by Alberto “Korda” Gutierrez, nor do you hear much about how the photo was taken. Why this rabbit trail? Guevara was executed on this day in 1967.

State Fair Fountains Roar Each Night at 8 p.m.

October 9, 2009

The State Fair of Texas is in full gear, and the new fountain show is in full effect every night at 8 p.m. Greenscape was the designer of the fountain show, with Innovative Automation‘s UL508A panel shop working with Greenscape in the background, manufacturing the control panels that drive the fountain show. Pretty awesome. The show takes place between the two auto show buildings, just north of the Hall of State building.

ABB Shaft Adapter Enables 5MM to use 6MM Shaft and Handle

October 6, 2009

Here’s a valuable piece of information sent out by Innovative’s Jesse Simental this morning.

Subject: RE: ABB Manual Starters
Importance: High

To All:

Here is some additional valuable information:

ABB does have an adapter that will enable to go from a 5mm manual starter to use a 6mm shaft and handle.

This part number is SHAFTADAPTER56

Also, ABB also have an adapter to visa-versa, 6mm manual starter to use a 5mm shaft and handle.

This new part number is SHAFTADAPTER65

One thing to keep in mind, you can still use a 5mm shaft with a 6mm handle and starter. On the starter end you just need to tighten up the set screw and you will not be a able to tell the difference. The handle end will have some play, but should still function.

Both of these adapter part numbers are stocked in Wichita Falls, and we have to call customer service and inform them to release.

We can use the numbers that Jason provided, just that these will be available on the 14th of this month.

Best regards,

Jesse Simental
