|Quickly and Easily Guard Multiple Irregularly Shaped Hazardous Areas|
The OS3101 OptoShield from Omron STI is the most intuitive, easy to use, advanced laser scanner available today.
The OS3101 uses harmless laser light to sense an intrusion into a guarded area, and can be configured to guard multiple irregularly shaped hazardous areas making it an excellent choice for safeguarding work cells, transfer lines, robot stations and automated guided vehicles. And with its patented intrusion indicators, the OS3101 OptoShield is uniquely capable among laser scanners of providing instant visual feedback that allows personnel to quickly identify the intrusion and immediately clear it.
Programmers love it for the intuitive configuration software. Operators love it for its efficiency. You’ll love it for its non-intrusive versatility in safeguarding dangerous areas and access points.

Got this from our buddy Neil at Yaskawa a few weeks ago. Check it out.
Yaskawa is on Twitter!
We are excited to launch “Yaskawa” on Twitter and would like to invite you to follow us at http://twitter.com/yaskawa.
Twitter is a simple but surprisingly effective and addictive way of communicating. You are restricted to 140 characters per message but thanks to web technology those notes can be easily written and uploaded and then shared and downloaded, making it very effective at spreading small snippets of information quickly. We will be providing quick updates on work Yaskawa is doing – highlighting an official announcement, announcing new products, or pointing out something of particular relevance – like a recent video on VFDs and energy efficiency or advantages of Sigma-5 servos.
So if you have heard about Twitter and wondered what on earth people are talking about, come join the Yaskawa Twitter feed and try it out.
