Protect Valuable Automation Equipment From Transient Surges

October 4, 2012

The OVR DIN rail surge protector line from ABB is the ideal solution to protecting valuable equipment and keeping an operation up and running.  Reduce downtime related to maintenance and troubleshooting with pluggable cartridges, visual life indicators, and integrated auxiliary contacts for remote monitoring.  When a cartridge has reached the end of its life it will alert you with a visual indicator both on the cartridge itself and remotely.  Then simply replace the cartridge, no rewiring is necessary.  Contact Innovative-IDM at info@innidm.com today for more.

ABB Low Voltage Price Increase Coming Jan. 1

October 19, 2011

We received this letter from ABB yesterday. Looks like a 5%-7% increase is on the way Jan. 1.

November 1, 2011

To:                   ABB Low Voltage Products Customers

Attn:                 Purchasing Manager/Pricing Personnel

cc:                    ABB Sales & Marketing Personnel

Ref:                  Pricing Action Announcement Effective January 1, 2012

Increased global demand has forced continued upward pressure on the cost of raw materials and components we use to manufacture ABB Low Voltage Products. While ABB has worked to increase manufacturing efficiencies to offset these costs, we find ourselves forced to increase the pricing of our products 5-7%.

ABB will honor existing quotations for 60 days from their inception.  After that period, all open negotiations must be re-quoted.  All orders currently in-house that are not released (hold for release status) will be subject to the price increase.

Standard product orders entered for immediate release (shipment) by Friday, December 30, 2011 at 5:00pm CST will be invoiced at the current price levels. Orders received after Friday, December 30, 2011 at 5:00pm CST will be invoiced at the new price levels.

We Offer Sensors, Vision and Feedback Devices

June 24, 2010

Innovative Automation is a leading provider for Omron and other manufacturer sensors. Our customers demand it.

Sensors, Vision, and Feedback Devices can be thought of as the “eyes and ears” of industrial automation. External sensors collect data from the system, such as presence, position, distance, color, text data, and quality control information. This data is fed into control devices, such as PLC’s or motion controllers, for processing. Although similar in function to many Safety products, these products do not meet the guidelines for preventing injury to life or limb.

  • Linear Encoders
  • Measurement Systems
  • Photoelectric Sensors
  • Pressure Sensors
  • Proximity Sensors
  • Rotary Encoders
  • Vision Sensors
  • Ultrasonic Sensors
